Mastr Splyntr 0 Report post Posted May 28, 2016 I am from Pakistan about to be married to my first cousin who lives in the USA, Texas and has US citizenship. Cousin marriages are pretty common among Pakistanis. Yet to qualify for a marriage-based visa or green card, I must be legally married that is recognized by USA and state of Texas. However, Texas prohibits cousin marriages as mentioned here https://www.cousincouples.com/?page=states . Hence, is there any way I can avail marriage-based green card for immigration? We can fulfill all the remaining conditions such as an official record of marriage etc.
