Birth certificate guidelines in texas

Question

So my second half cousin and I are having a baby in texas. We aren't married but have the same last name. My question is I know the law in Texas states nothing is legal but I don't want to get my baby taken from me bc I put him on the birth certificate and we get flagged for some reason. Any help is appreciated.

If you are indeed second cousins 1R, no worry. marriage between second cousins is legal in Texas.

And about anywhere in the world that is known of on this site.  If you are uncertain about doing that

you might want to contact a family law attorney for clarification and peace of mind either way.

Most attorneys will give a consultation at no charge.

Best wishes on your journey.
