Hurricanes named after women

Hurricanes named after women are far more destructive than Hurricanes named after men. It's official! No I didn't read that article, but I heard it on the news tonight.

I've been suspicious about this for some time, ever since Irene came through and threw a 15 billion dollar tantrum. You see, Irene is my soon to be ex-wife's middle name. Had that hurricane had been named after her first name, the whole USA would have been annihilated.

I think we should only name hurricanes after men from now on. Who is on board? Like Mr. Feelgood. Yeah, I like that better than Irene.

the irony is though, that (according to what i heard on the news the other day) people are more fearful, therefore more likely to evacuate, if the hurricane is named after a guy.

stupid people LOL. don't they know that hell hath no fury like a WOMAN scorned?

and until the early 1970's  ALL hurricanes had female names!!!!

I'll still take a hurricane any day over a tornado or an earthquake  lol

well, hurricanes do provide a lot more warning time for people to get to safety, so i think i'd take one over the others too!
